WHAT IS Morpheus Body Sculpting and what are its Benefits?

How Are Morpheus Treatments Done?

This consultation and assessment is a chance for you and your doctor to sit down and discuss your aesthetic goals, as well as your ideas on how to reach them. The doctor will also weigh in on whether the Morpheus procedure seems like the right option for your needs, and if so, you’ll schedule your treatment.
On the day of the treatment, the area to be treated will be thoroughly cleaned and prepped. In many cases, a numbing cream or similar topical anesthetic will be used to ensure your comfort. When the treatment starts, the Morpheus handpiece is gently glided over the areas to be treated, and while it creates hundreds of tiny channels in the skin, the RF energy is delivered to the deeper tissues. This stimulates the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin, which helps reduce fat and tighten skin. Most Morpheus treatments only take 30 to 60 minutes.
When the treatment is finished, there will be an aspect of recovery that you’ll need to observe. Immediately following the procedure you’ll probably notice some swelling and redness in the areas that were treated, but that will generally go down within a few hours. If it’s been a few days with no change, call your doctor. Generally speaking, you’ll be able to return to your usual activities within a day or two.
You may notice results after a single treatment, but the most noticeable improvements can be seen starting around three weeks after the treatment. Optimal results are generally seen in about 3 months, and multiple sessions are usually needed to see the most impressive improvements.
